Focusing on standing, sitting, twisting, inverted asanas with forward, backward and supine extensions, the goal is to develop strength and improve mobility, stamina, concentration and relaxation.
The Iyengar yoga teaching method – based on the lifetime work of Guruji B.K.S. Iyengar – aims to achieve optimum postural alignment in each asana.
Katrin has been practising yoga for 23 years and was introduced to Iyengar yoga to help alleviate severe lower back pain. She completed her teacher training in Africa and the Middle East and qualified in 2018.
